More recently, a well-known Japanese brewing group became the newest corporation to be required to cease operations at its domestic factories following a security incident.

The corporation, which maintains multiple production facilities in Japan producing alcoholic beverages and various goods, reported that its transaction handling functions, along with delivery systems and client support operations, had been interrupted following a systems outage caused by the security breach.
