Real Madrid's winger Extends Regret to Real Madrid Fans

Vinicius Jr in action

Vinicius Jr has netted five goals in 10 La Liga appearances during the current campaign.

The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to the fanbase for his response when substituted in the recent fiery Clasico clash victory.

He was substituted in the 72nd min and showed his disappointment by heading directly off the pitch.

The Brazilian subsequently came back to the sidelines and, after his club's 2-1 win, attempted to approach Barça's opposing player during unpleasant final whistle incidents.

"Now I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was taken off in the big match," he wrote on social media.

"In the same way as I have said in person during the latest session, I also want to express regret anew to my team-mates, the club, and the leadership.

"At times passion takes over me because I always want to win and support my club. My competitive character comes from the love I feel for this institution and each thing it symbolizes."

He moved to the Spanish capital from Flamengo in recent years for millions and has scored over a century of strikes in 335 appearances.

But his prospects in the Madrid is unclear with rumors in lately indicating that Los Blancos would think about letting the young star depart if they obtained a appropriate bid.

When Vinicius was replaced on the match day, broadcast footage from coverage provider the service captured him remarking: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I go, I'm moving on."

In his latest message on the platform, he said: "I vow to keep battling every second for the benefit of Real Madrid, as I have performed since the first day."
